SOLD OUT!
Join me in the amazing state where I grew up for this special and decadent, all inclusive weekend.
If you have been a part of my past art events, you know I love to present top notch, intimate and special retreats, and this
one, I believe shall be the créme de la créme!
Fall in Maryland is a true sight to behold…a dream come true of sorts. We will be 30 miles or so from our nations capital so if possible, you may like to stay a few extra days and explore beautiful Washington DC!
The town of Frederick which was founded in 1745, will capture your heart along with the magnificent countryside, one of a kind barn sales, elegant art projects, and the bliss of crimson and gold among fields of clover.
I have worked hard to put together an all inclusive package where much of the entire weekends costs are covered
The greatest of these is the amazing historic B&B where we will reside, 10 Clarke Place. Monique, the owner is a friend of mine, and she runs her business with the finest of elegance and class! Take a peek!!…..
I have chosen this particular weekend because of the AMAZING barn sales which will be open.
I am so excited to share many of my favorite places and people with you! Here are some highlights:
Thursday evening we will be hosted for a lovely sip and shop, wine and cheese at one of my all time favorite “vintage girlie” shops called Tiara Day.
Maria, the owner and my dear friend stocks her shop with the most beautiful merchandise with an emphasis on treasures from Paris.
Over the next days we will visit several barn sales and shops including Lucketts, which is an old repurposed general store filled with lovelies, Chartreuse & Company, On a Whim, Rust and Feathers, and Sweet Clover Barn where we will create a Fall beautiful make and take project.
We will be traveling together to these venues in a large passenger van!
I am blessed and thrilled that we will be creating our art projects at one of the most special places on earth!
My friend Amy Marsh Draper owns a lovely historic home in Frederick where she also runs her incredible business, “Flourish.”
Sometimes you meet people so amazing, you realize it is only because it was fate and the universe!
Amy is one of the most dynamic individuals I have been privileged to encounter on this earth.
Behind her amazing home sits a precious cottage where we will gather to create our art projects….
Isn’t it just precious and divine?????
And the projects??? SO LOVELY, elegant and special!
Karen Hillman
I will be teaching you to make a beautiful antique button necklace on silk and velvet ribbon.
If you have a special button or two in your collection, you may wish to save them for this special project!
I will also teach you about embossing on velvet and we will create a beautiful bracelet!
The bracelet will be in shades of cream and I will post a photo of this sample soon!
Lisa Phillippi
Lisa is from San Antonio Texas and is an amazing and talented artist in many mediums.
She will lead you in creating a stunning coffee table worthy altered book using rich fabrics, breathtaking images of vintage ladies, and lovely quotes. There is even a pocket page in the back where you can save mementos from this special weekend.
Stacy Seely
My dear friend Stacy, artist and owner of Whitworth Ranch Retreat in Texas will be presenting a beautiful Fall Swag project perfect to display on a fireplace mantle or staircase. Using sheet music, glitter and bling, you will be ready to welcome the season with joy! Here is a sneak peek and I will post a finished sample soon!
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Please allow me to state something most important before you commit to this event.
There are very limited spots for this weekend. I need you to understand that once you register, your payments are NON REFUNDABLE.
The money you secure your reservation with is being spent long before the actual weekend on supplies, materials, food, deposits etc.
If you decide to cancel your choices are to find someone else to fill your spot, or I can send you the project kits from the weekend.
When planning something like this with such attention to detail, there is no other option for me except that you fully understand this NON REFUNDABLE POLICY.
Once you have signed up for the event you will receive travel information and more details by email in the coming months before the event. I will also have a Facebook event page soon where we will get to know one another and share information.
This is a B&B experience and the rooms have queen or king beds so you will be with another friend (meaning 2 per room) with whom you are comfortable slumbering with.
“All Inclusive” means the following is included:
Your room stay at the Inn Thursday-Monday
Full Breakfasts each morning
3 lunches
Van transportation to Barn shopping days

The least expensive registration is for rooms that have a shared bathroom.
The rooms are as follows:
